This salve melts perfectly into the skin from the addition of soft Shea Butter, allowing the hands to glide naturally into those deep tissue area. Excellent daily pain relief salve.
We do not use any petroleum or petroleum by-product. Petroleum, also known as mineral oil jelly, liquid Vaseline, paraffinum, liquidum and baby oil, coats the skin like plastic and clogs the pores. This interferes with the skin's ability to eliminate toxins, promoting acne and other disorders. It slows down your skins function and cell development, resulting in premature aging. Most manufacturers use petroleum because it is so inexpensive.

*Our certified organic olive oil is cold pressed from the fruit of the olive tree. Olive oil has been used extensively since ancient time for dry skin care. The extra virgin grade is the first pressing containing the highest amount of vitamins and minerals making it a favorite base oil in skincare products for dry skin. It is a very stable oil giving it a long shelf life. Olive Oil is high in unsaponifiables.
** The flowering plant Arnica Montana is used because of its capability to stimulate circulation and reduce inflammation. This is included for deep tissue repair and it's main use is for bruises, sprains, muscular and rheumatic pain. A recent research shows that Arnica may stimulate the immune system. Our herbalist takes great care and much time to infuse these flowers and strain them in with the organic olive oil.
